Shifting away from the comprehensible and beautiful melodies of X'ed Out, Trash Generator brings forth experimental and odd guitar riffs while keeping the melodic sound of Nick Reinhart's vocals. ulery

Taking a step for the melodic since their last studio album, Tera Melos manages to incorporate Nick Reinhart's vocals into beautiful, complex, and sometimes abrasive guitar melodies that ends up relaxing, exciting, and captivating, all at the same time. ulery

Nick shows a lot of restraint with his guitar riffs compared to other albums, but still blesses us with glitchy, grungey sounds like the solo on "Don't Paint the Sun." My parents hate this album the least. Napalm

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
